OPS Consulting is seeking an Software Engineer Summer Intern to work in Hanover, MD.
We are seeking a motivated and talented Software Engineer Intern to join our dynamic team. As an intern, you will work closely with experienced engineers, contribute to real projects, and gain hands-on experience in a professional software development environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the engineering team to design, develop, test, and deploy software applications.
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code under the guidance of a mentor.
- Participate in code reviews and team meetings.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing software.
- Assist with documentation of code, processes, and project workflows.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, etc).
- Understanding of software development principles and data structures.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Previous internship or personal project experience.

Pay Range: $49,996.80 - $290,004.00
Pay ranges are a general guideline and not intended as a guaranteed and/or implied final compensation or salary for this job opening. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several different factors including, but not limited to: level of position, complexity of job responsibilities, geographic location, work experience, education, certifications, Federal Government contract labor categories, and contract wage rates.
