Job Description:
The Alternative Investment Technical Specialist Analyst will support Specialists and Financial Advisors on adotpion of private market investment strategies and fund solutions. The associate will assist in the coordination of all custom alternative investments proposals, as well as internal collateral, related to private markets fund launches.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for delivering customized, client-approved portfolio analyses in defined timeframe with high degree of detail and specificity.
- Maintain and update ongoing pipeline of sales opportunities across strategies, and track sales related to those opportunities.
- Manage ongoing collateral to report on performance and updates to hedge fund strategies and platform.
- Partner with Technical Specialists on aspects of portfolio construction, manager selection, product design, and fund terms.
- Participate in meetings with third-party asset management firms to build knowledge base around investment concepts and strategies.
Qualifications:
- 2-5+ years’ experience in financial services;
- Hold or attain Series 7 and 66 licenses within 120 days of hire;
- Knowledge of alternative investments
- Bachelors Degree preferred or Equivalent experience
