Job Summary: Reporting to the Associate Director of Quality Engineering for MECOE, the Quality Technician will assist is improving the quality signature at Columbus Engine Center. In this role, you will be responsible for Supplier Discrepancy Reports Focal and Foreign Object Detection Coordinator. In addition, this role will assist the Quality Engineers with Risk Based Process Reviews to include scheduling, execution, metrics, and corrective action follow-ups.
This is a 1st Shift position: Monday – Thursday 5:00 am – 3:30 pm
Qualifications You Must Have:
- HS Diploma or GED
- 3+ years’ experience in aviation maintenance repair and overhaul
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Value:
- A&P License, Military Training, Technical Training, or Jet Engine Inspection Experience
- Quality experience
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
