As a Senior Operations Project Management Specialist, your role will be dynamic and influential. Here is a glimpse into what a typical day might look like:
Lead the Operations Core Team meeting, collaborating with key stakeholders from various departments to provide updates, discuss challenges, and align project objectives.
Manage project schedules, identify critical tasks and potential bottlenecks, and develop strategies to ensure timely completion.
Maintain risk registers, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for each project, ensuring clarity on deliverables, milestones, and timelines.
Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, demand planning, supply planning, service, PMO, and marketing, to drive operational excellence.
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, external partners, and customers to gather feedback, address concerns, and support product improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
Contribute to the development and tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of released products and sustainment programs.
Identify process improvement opportunities and support the implementation of best practices to enhance product sustainment processes.
Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to medical devices and product lifecycle management.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree
Minimum of 4 years of experience in operations management, project coordination, or a related role.
Nice to Have
Relevant certifications or additional education.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements for medical devices (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA regulations, EU MDR).
Experience with critical path management and risk mitigation strategies.
Ability to foster collaboration and align priorities across functions.
Experience in the medical device industry
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field.
