Job description – Custodian / CleanerGenerator Supercenter is seeking a highly organized and responsible Custodian to join our growing organization. In this position, you will work full-time, performing cleaning tasks around the office and between buildings and generally keep the main office areas clean and tidy, maintaining hygiene and sanitation standards by performing routine tasks like sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in high traffic areas.  You would be responsible for cleaning restrooms, emptying trash, restocking supplies, cleaning glass doors, and reporting any maintenance issues. This physically demanding role requires attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work independently. 

Key Responsibilities

• General Cleaning: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Sanitization: Clean and disinfect high-touch areas, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
• Waste Disposal: Empty trash cans, replace liners, and remove recycling.
• Supply Management: Replenish inventory such as soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.
• Maintenance Support: Monitor and report necessary repairs or safety hazards to management.
• Deep Cleaning: Cleaning glass doors, some window washing if or when needed and carpet cleaning.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Authorization to work: Must have Current Legal ID and Social or Current Work Permit with ITIN
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform manual labor.
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring a consistently clean and organized environment.
• Experience: Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role is often preferred.
• Product Knowledge: Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, sanitizing agents, and equipment.
• Time Management: Ability to complete assigned tasks within required schedules.
• Dependability: Reliable and able to work with minimal supervision.
