Description
Make an impact. Join our growing outpatient clinics, focused on improving the wellbeing of families. We are seeking a mission driven and dedicated Registered Nurse to support patients and providers of our health centers in the High Desert communities.
• Provide direct nursing care to patients of all ages in an outpatient setting, including performing health assessments and screenings, administering vaccinations, educating patients, case management, patient tracking and monitoring, support healthcare providers in delivery of high-quality outpatient care.
• Improve patient outcomes by outreaching to our patients and their families to get them to return to our office for needed care.
• Willingness to work as part of a collaborative team that includes social workers, physicians, nurse practitioners, and case managers.
• St. Jude Neighborhood Health Centers utilizes EPIC for our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred
Who We Are. We are a collaborative community practice, with locations in Fullerton, Anaheim, Orange, and the High Desert. Most of our patients live below 200% of the Federal Poverty level, and are best served in Spanish. Compensation and Benefits:
Pay Range: $46.75 - $54.90 per hour

Requirements
Education:
Must have evidence of completion of an accredited school of Nursing.
License/ Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association approved program.
Active License from the California Board of Registered Nursing.
Experience:
Minimum of 6-months of experience as a Registered Nurse.
Preferred:
Community Clinic experience
Experience with Epic EMR
Experience driving a mobile clinic or RV
Fluent in Spanish and English
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Required:
Demonstrates the ability to read, write and speak English and Spanish without an
interpreter.
Demonstrates interpersonal/cultural sensitivity and work with a diverse and often
underserved population.
