You will be part of the Autonomous Vehicle Programme Office (AVPO) under LTA’s Technology and Industry Development Group. AVPO facilitates all matters concerning Autonomous Vehicles (AVs) in Singapore, including AV trials, testing, regulations, certifications, standards and public acceptance.

You will play an active role in ensuring the safety of AVs in Singapore. You will be required to review technical documents, oversee testing of AVs, and conduct investigations. You will be involved in the development and enforcement of AV regulations and testing requirements. You will collaborate with various parties (i.e. AV companies, end users, testing centres, other LTA divisions, external agencies) to regulate and enforce the safety of AVs in Singapore.

•Knowledge in relevant field such as engineering and urban and transportation planning •Candidates with relevant experience in AV, automobile related field will be an advantage, especially with prior working experience in technology project development

•Able to understand technical documents, including mechanical/electrical drawings, test reports, technical standards, etc.

•Strong writing and presentation skills, with an eye for details

•Possess good communication skills to effectively interact with different stakeholders and convey technical information clearly

•Interest and basic knowledge in AV, motor vehicle regulations and standards
