Location: Blue Bell, PA – Hybrid

Salary Range: $93,000 - $105,000

Position Overview 

The Business Process & System Support – Logistics role at SKF Automotive is responsible for driving standardized, efficient, and digitally enabled logistics processes across the SKF Automotive supply chain network. This role acts as a key interface between Logistics Operations, Supply Chain, and IT, ensuring that business processes are aligned with SKF Automotive global standards and supported effectively.

The position plays a critical role in supporting SKF Automotive’s transformation journey by enabling process harmonization, improving data quality, developing BI Dashboards and adoption across North America region.

Key Responsibilities 

Process Standardization & Governance

  • Support implementation and sustainment of SKF Logistics Process Standards across Automotive businesses in the region.
  • Document, maintain, and continuously improve End-to-End (E2E) logistics processes (order fulfillment, warehousing, transportation and customs compliance).
  • Partner with Global Process Owners to deploy standardized best practices across the region.

Logistics Systems Support

  • Provide functional support for Logistics systems (such as DOH, WASS, WMS, GTS).
  • Act as first-level support for business users, including incident resolution, root cause analysis, and escalation to IT.
  • Support system enhancements, testing (UAT), and deployment aligned with SKF IT governance.
  • Drive effective utilization of digital tools supporting logistics execution and visibility.

Data Integrity & Master Data Management

  • Ensure high standards of master data quality (SKU, COM, Product Dimensions, customer ID, vendor ID, transportation lanes etc).
  • Support governance of logistics-related data to enable reliable planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with data owners to reduce errors, duplications, and manual workarounds.
  • Monitor and improve data accuracy metrics impacting service and cost.

Dashboard and BI Tool Development

  • Design, build, and enhance BI solutions using tools such as Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, or Excel-based models
  • Automate manual reports and improve self-service reporting capabilities
  • Develop standardized reporting templates for logistics, supply chain, and leadership teams
  • Ensure dashboards are user-friendly, accurate, and aligned with business requirements

Cross-Functional & Regional Collaboration

  • Act as the bridge between Logistics Operations, Supply Chain Planning, Sales, Customer Service, and IT.
  • Support alignment between regional operations and global supply chain strategies.
  • Collaborate with 3PL partners to ensure process and system compliance.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practice adoption across SKF sites.

Transformation & Project Support

  • Support SKF’s digital transformation initiatives, including SAP S/4HANA adoption, and logistics automation.
  • Participate in global and regional projects (e.g., network redesign, warehouse optimization, transport digitization).
  • Lead smaller initiatives or workstreams focused on process improvement and system enhancements.

Training & Change Management

  • Develop and deliver training programs for end-users on logistics processes and systems.
  • Drive change management and adoption for new tools, systems, and ways of working.
  • Maintain documentation, user guides, and knowledge repositories.

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, supply chain, logistics or engineering
  • 5–8+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain operations, or supply chain systems support, with a strong focus on transportation, warehousing, and order fulfillment processes in a regional or global environment. (preferably manufacturing/automotive).
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, global logistics networks and 3PL ecosystems.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Business Intelligence and analytics, including development of dashboards and reports using Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, or similar tools, with focus on logistics KPIs and operational performance.
  • Good understanding of data mining and analysis tools (SQL, Python, Snowflake)
  • Strong stakeholder management
