The Climate, Mortgage & Reporting practice is part of the Consulting and Client Service Group (CCSG) at Verisk Extreme Event Solutions. The CCSG mission is to build relationships based on detailed knowledge of Verisk’s extreme event models and products and to meet the needs of our clients as they understand their risk and manage their business. This role in the Climate, Mortgage & Reporting team centers on facilitating interactions between the insurance industry and those requiring reporting – state departments of insurance, federal governments, international regulators, rating agencies and others. As the reporting space continues to expand into climate disclosures, the assessment of more lines of business and increasing model education this team will continue to be on the forefront of changes across the industry.

Main Responsibilities:

• Proactively develop strong relationships with regulatory, rating agency and client contacts to facilitate model education, and understand regulatory requirements and changes in the reporting across the industry.
• Lead in communications and curating content across multiple departments such as research and software for client-facing and public-facing materials.
• Provide input to our internal teams regarding the evolution of our products based on client feedback and your internal usage of our products. Remain engaged with the internal teams through feature design, development, and release.
• Represent Verisk in a range of forums including internal and external conferences, industry events and client meetings.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the global insurance and reinsurance industry. Experience with climate change solutions is a plus.
• Experience in documentation and marketing
• Strong presentation and written communication skills.
• Able to curate and create various forms of documentation from different sources. Vision on how to best develop new content during the model build process and build efficiency around that process.
• Proven track record of managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Self-motivated and quick learner, with good organization and time management skills; works independently
