The Regional Director’s main responsibility will be to oversee the operations of the Legacy Rhino event staff accounts in the assigned region. This includes recruiting, hiring, and training both full and part-time employees. This position will play a key role in the growth and integration of all REVELxp operations in the area including but not limited to event staffing, tailgate operations, and premium hospitality operations. The position will involve heavy travel, night, and weekend work.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide leadership in managing the full-time staff within the assigned region to Legacy Rhino Accounts
- Communicate regularly with other departments and collaborate as needed to fulfill the overall goals of REVELxp
- Lead the recruiting, hiring, training aspects for regions to include event staffing operations, premium hospitality management, and event-based labor
- Lead large-scale staff training to both company and client’s venue standards. Venue Breakouts, Emergency management, Customer Service, Positive Team Environment, and Staff job duties are common topics among others that you will need to speak to.
- Support and at times fill-in for staff at individual accounts, where managing gameday operations and hundreds of part-time staff will be required
- Ensure compliance with all company administrative policies and procedures.
- Manage budgets, reporting, invoicing, onboarding processes, and communication for all clients and groups within the assigned region
- Identify potential process improvements to include cost savings and increased revenue.
- Assist with coordinating and executing annual events as needed in association with company contracts outside of your market. Events may include NASCAR races, concerts, and staff traveling to other markets.
- Assure accounts follows all local, state, and federal licensing requirements such as business licenses, insurance, security compliance, and labor laws.
- Grow the client list as a brand ambassador of REVELxp.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
- Bachelor’s degree required (Masters preferred) and a minimum of five years of large-scale sports and event management experience or collegiate/professional football experience required.
- Must show proven leadership and effective communication experience in managing large groups of people in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous football operations experience required.
- Lead by example professionally and personally.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Speaking in front of large groups and conducting training will be required.
- Be computer literate and have working knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Be able to respond to change in a positive and productive way.
- Exhibit an emphasis on customer service.
- Demonstrate organization and attention to small, yet critical, details.
- Be able to handle multiple tasks.
- Must have excellent problem solving and negotiation skills.
