Job Description

This role is open to locate in Frankfurt, Germany or Copenhagen, DK with the important criteria that you speak fluent business German and English.

You’ll be powering Merchant Services Products to ensure our ‘licence to operate’ in the DACH region. This is an opportunity to drive high value complex initiatives in an Agile and SAFe ecosystem of which you will be a part.

As Sr.Project Manager, you’ll join the Product Governance and Enablement (PGE) team within Merchant Solutions which builds our core merchant services products. You will be reporting into the head of our License to Operate program team that works closely with stakeholders (at all levels) in Risk, Legal, Compliance and Schemes to ensure our products are fit for purpose and to reduce our compliance exposure in terms of fines and negative publicity.

You will manage the backlog of initiatives for the German market, supporting the valuation of business impact, product development impact.  You will also support cross functional decision making to ensure we are delivering the highest priority capabilities with the best possible business impact.

You will be responsible for delivery of approved initiatives from start to live in market, including reporting, risk and issue management, and engagement with country business leads coordinating merchant and PSP communications.

This is a hands-on role where you will work on multiple projects concurrently and deliver innovative, yet pragmatic solutions with positive impact. You will need to be comfortable working with a degree of ambiguity in a fast paced and ever evolving environment.

Your experience includes some of the following:

• Experience of managing cross organizational initiatives with a number of stakeholders in different functions, and in particular launching digital products and services
• Knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies in the context of Agile or SAFe
• Strong communication skills, tailored to large cross-country organizations especially in remote working environments
• Strong experience in stakeholder management at all levels of the organization
• Highly organized and disciplined to facilitate planning, governance, and collaboration across the ecosystem
• Keen attention to detail and proficiency in finding solutions to problems
• The ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems
• Ability to facilitate road mapping and scoping workshops with the objective to gain alignment with all stakeholders
• Experience with collaborative tools such as Miro, Jira, Jira Align, Confluence, and MS Teams helpful

Your qualifications:

• Financial Services domain knowledge is required preferably in payments, regulatory and compliance
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in an agile environment
• Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills, problem-solving ability
• Shown ability to navigate on a both strategic and tactical level
• Have knowledge of and share the values of Servant Leadership
• You are eligible to work in EU area and currently based in Germany
• Fluent Business English and German is required
