JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Center for Healthy Aging at the Pennsylvania State University is seeking a part-time research specialist. The purpose of this position is to provide coordination and support for various research projects focused on mobile health phenotyping and environmental influences. The part-time research specialist will regularly communicate with team(s) via email, video conference, etc., to understand capacity, needs, and issues and to facilitate project success. This role involves managing project logistics, administrative tasks, and various types of documentation such as data entry, SOPs, etc. (Excel, Word, PDF). Additionally, the position includes contributing to team meetings, troubleshooting, assisting with writing projects and future directions, and integrating and accepting feedback from team members to support project advancement.

This position is remote, 20 hours per week with a starting pay of $20/hr.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
