Nestled in San Francisco's Excelsior neighborhood on a nine-acre campus, the San Francisco Campus for Jewish Living (SFCJL) is a center of excellence in providing a continuum of care. This includes the Frank Residences, offering luxurious assisted living and memory care services; the Jewish Home and Rehabilitation Center, featuring long-term skilled nursing, short-term rehabilitation, and an acute psychiatric unit specialized in mental healthcare for older adults over age 55; and the Jewish Home and Senior Living Foundation.
Grounded in the Jewish values of dignity, compassion, and community, the San Francisco Campus for Jewish Living, fondly referred to in the past as "the Jewish Home," was founded in 1871. Today, 150 years later, it continues to build upon its legacy of enriching the lives of older adults.
What you’ll do as a Registered Nurse:
Utilize your outstanding clinical skills while you are responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of comprehensive, individualized resident care.
- Initiate a plan of care based on patient issues at admission; review and update care plan based on ongoing assessments
- Responsible for the administration of treatments and medications
- Initiate appropriate nursing interventions such as discharge planning and resident teaching as needed
- Act as a resource person for LVNs and CNAs
- Assume delegated responsibilities for the day-to-day management and supervision of the unit in the absence of the head nurse. Assumes charge nurse responsibilities as assigned
For you to be a successful Registered Nurse:
- Current and active California licensure as a Registered Nurse
- Current CPR certification
- Two years of acute or long-term nursing experience preferred
