Dane Street is expanding our physician panel! This is a telework opportunity for supplemental income for physicians providing a caseload customized to your schedule. Our physician panel is comprised of independent contract reviewers (1099) compensated on a per-case basis.
Candidates will hold a California State Medical license and be Board Certified in Dermatology.
Requirements
JOB SUMMARY
As Physician Reviewer/Advisor for Disability Peer Reviews, you will utilize clinical expertise to review and assess disability claims. The Physician Reviewer will provide an evaluation of the medical evidence and offer opinions on functional limitations related to the claimant's dermatological condition.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Evaluate medical records and provide an analysis of the claimant's dermatological condition
- Offer opinions on the claimant's functional limitations related to their dermatological condition
- Ensure that the evaluation is thorough, clear, and supported by medical evidence
- Adhere to client-specific guidelines and policies
- Return completed reviews in a timely manner
- Maintain proper licensure and credentials
- Participate in training and orientation sessions as required
- Board certification required, active practice required
