Stock Associate Part-Time Evenings

Description

Stock Associates help to keep things running smooth for volunteers and ministries that come to get food. A Stock Associate must have excellent customer service and people skills as they will interact with volunteers and ministries daily. Their main duty is to keep the floor stocked with plenty of items, as well as ensuring that everything looks clean and organized. Besides, maintaining the floor, stock associates must be able to direct and explain all rules to volunteers when they come in for their shift and assign tasks to them. 

Responsibilities:

• Keep the food selection area neat and organized and make sure our partner ministries have a good variety to choose from. 
• Ability to coordinate volunteers, oversee their work in displaying items and assist them if needed. 
• Keep floors clean.
• Answer any questions that our ministries partners may have. 

Hours:

This is a part-time position with hours being Mon/Wed/Thurs/Fri from 4:30 pm - 8:00 pm 

Occasional Saturdays 8:00 am - 1:00 pm as needed

Requirements

• Must work well with teammates and have a strong desire to get along with others. 
• Need to able to work quickly and efficiently and handle some pressure when it gets busy.
• Operate forklift (training provided)
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Be detail oriented and organized
