HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT
Job Summary:
Provides a safe, loving environment for children that fosters positive self-concepts.
Provides day-to-day communication to parents, co-workers, and supervisors.
Ensures children’s safety.

Performs miscellaneous duties not expressly described herein.
Reports: Director/Child Care Center (job code (JC): 014301) or Child Care Assistant Director (JC: 669401)
Supervises: None
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY
Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., certificate of high school equivalency) at hire. Florida Department of Children and Families’ (DCF) Introductory Child Care (45-hour training course) completion (including passed competency examination) within ninety (90) days post-hire.
Preferred Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or Child Development.
Required Experience:
- One (1) year of job-related experience
Preferred Experience:
- Three (3)+ years of job-related experience.
Required Certification/License/Registry:
Preferred: Child Development Associate (CDA) issued by the FL Department of Children and Families
