Senior Linux Administrator

From this role you  will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of our software components on Linux platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of Linux systems, experience with enterprise-level software deployment and management, strong DevOps skills, expertise in managing infrastructure on AWS, and proficiency in both German and English.</span></em></span></p> <p><span><em><span> </span></em></span></p> <p><strong><span>What you do</span></strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li><em><span>Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure to support enterprise server operations.</span></em></li> <li><em><span>Strong DevOps skills, including experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools. (Github, Github Actions, ArgoCD and AWX)</span></em></li> </ul> <ul type="disc"> <li><em><span>Proficiency in using Ansible for server configuration management and automation.</span></em></li> <li><em><span>Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability of enterprise servers.</span></em></li> <li><em><span>Collaborate with development teams to support application deployment and integration.</span></em></li> <li><em><span>Implement and maintain security best practices and compliance standards.</span></em></li> <li><em><span>Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to streamline system administration tasks.</span></em></li> <li><em><span>Provide technical support and guidance to junior administrators and other IT staff.</span></em></li> <li><em><span>Participate in on-call rotation and respond to system emergencies as needed.</span></em></li> <li><em><span>Document system configurations, procedures, and changes.</span></em></li> </ul> <p><em><span> </span></em></p> <p><strong><span>What you bring</span></strong></p> <ul> <li><em><span>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.</span></em></li> <li><em><span>Proven experience as a Linux Administrator, with a focus on enterprise-level environments.</span></em></li> <li><em><span>Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g., Red Hat, SUSE, Ubuntu).</span></em></li> <li><em><span>Experience managing AWS services and infrastructure.</span></em></li> <li><em><span>Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash or Python.</span></em></li> <li><em><span>Proficiency in using Ansible for server configuration management and automation.</span></em></li> <li><em><span>Understanding of networking protocols and services (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SSH).</span></em></li> <li><em><span>Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</span></em></li> <li><em><span>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</span></em></li> <li><em><span>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</span></em></li> <li><em><span>Proficiency in both German and English, both written and spoken.</span></em></li> <li><em><span>Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use.</span></em></li> </ul><p> </p> <p><span><strong><span>About Allianz Technology </span></strong></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span>With its headquarters in Munich, Germany, Allianz Technology is Allianz's global IT service provider and delivers IT solutions that drive the group's digitalization.
