From the food you eat, to the water you drink, to the medicines you rely on, Eurofins works with the biggest companies in the world to ensure the products they supply are safe, their ingredients are authentic and labelling is accurate.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>The Central IT Operations team inside Eurofins is responsible for maintaining centrally provided IT services (in this case Active Directory and any directly service for the delivery) in collaboration with other IT teams and according to defined processes (e.g. Incident Management and Change Management).</p><p>The Active Directory engineer provides support and implementation services for Microsoft Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Azure Active Directory Domain Service and Windows-based systems across the enterprise, including directory and identity management solutions.</p><p>Resolves and appropriately completes assigned cases and change requests and acts as an escalation for support issues. Applies new solutions through research and collaboration with team and Managed Service providers to determine course of action for new application initiatives. Implements new software solutions as required by the business.</p><p><strong>The Focus of the AD Engineer includes:</strong></p><ol><li>Operating IT services provided from centrally hosted in either the cloud or strategic Data Centres.</li><li>Ensure that IT Services managed by the Central IT Operations team are delivered effectively to business customers. This includes the execution of SOPs and standard best practices, management of IT Incidents, IT Changes and IT Problems in ITSM based system on the related processes, procedures and work instructions.</li><li>Operate and install on Enterprise-level Infrastructure for providing Microsoft services, such as AD, for global initiatives following those through to implementation via collaboration with project and support teams;</li><li>Identify opportunities to innovate, extend and enhance service delivery everywhere possible;</li><li>ITIL approach to resolve technical problems. Troubleshoot occurring issues, investigating root causes and supporting resolution of the issues found;</li><li>Serves as escalation point for application support and troubleshooting, provides guidance and direction in resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application or system problems;</li><li>Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all involved infrastructure elements server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs and verifying completion of scheduled jobs. Ensure that the performance, scalability, and security is maintained and optimized;</li><li>Deliver quality documentation allowing for smooth day-to-day operations;</li><li>Improve existing processes through sustainable solutions to recurring problems and enhancements to existing solutions or documentation by automation;</li><li>Contributes to the development of new ideas and methods.
