We cover a broad spectrum of activities, including renewables, gas and electricity supply, thermal power generation, flexibility assets, nuclear energy, green mobility, trading, portfolio management, hydrogen, and biogas.</p> <h3>RAPA Activities:</h3> <ol> <li>Building Networks: We establish connections with key decision-makers and stakeholders.</li> <li>Positive Influence: Upholding ENGIE’s interests constructively and transparently.</li> <li>Comprehensive Involvement: We partner with all Engie business activities in Belgium.</li> <li>Mission: Enabling and promoting Belgian Engie projects and activities with authorities, stakeholders, and industrial partners.</li> </ol> <p>Your Responsibilities as Senior Regulatory &amp; Public Affairs Manager - Federal Team (M/F/X)</p> <p><em>Specific Focus</em>:</p> <ul> <li>Electricity Security of Supply Issues: You’ll play a pivotal role in further developing the capacity remuneration mechanism and addressing other critical electricity market design topics, such as Contracts for Difference (CfD) and regulations for power plant operations.</li> </ul> <p><em>Key Responsibilities</em>:</p> <ol> <li>Monitoring and Analysis: <ul> <li>Stay informed about evolving legislation and regulations.</li> <li>Evaluate their impact on ENGIE’s business operations.</li> <li>Ensure adequate advocacy activities and defend ENGIE Belgium interests and positions.</li> <li>Key mission is to positively inspire and influence relevant regulatory and political frameworks.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Collaboration with Internal Stakeholders: <ul> <li>Exchange information and collaborate closely with various Belgian Engie business units.</li> <li>Work closely with legal and communication teams.</li> <li>Engage with colleagues in our EU advocacy team.</li> <li>Cooperate with internal study centers (e.g., Impact study teams).</li> </ul> </li> <li>Engagement with External Stakeholders: <ul> <li>Interact with federal BEGOV cabinets and federal energy administrations.</li> <li>Engage with the federal regulator and Belgian Transmission System Operators (TSOs).</li> <li>Participate in lobbying activities through sector organizations like Febeg and EU sector organization Eurelectric.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Reporting and Advocacy: <ul> <li>Manage reporting requirements for the federal regulator and administration.</li> <li>Actively participate in external stakeholder events.</li> <li>Publicly defend Engie Belgium’s interests.</li> </ul> </li> </ol> <p>Your Qualifications as Senior Regulatory &amp; Public Affairs Manager - Federal Team (M/F/X)</p> <ul> <li>University Degree: Whether you’re a civil engineer, commercial engineer, lawyer, or hold another relevant degree, your educational background is essential.</li> <li>Experience: A minimum of 10 years in the energy sector, authorities, or consultancy. Knowledge of power market functioning is a significant advantage.</li> <li>Passion for Belgian Energy: Stay curious about the ever-evolving energy landscape and political/regulatory developments.</li> <li>Effective Communication Skills: <ul> <li>Oral: Persuasive communication both internally and externally.</li> <li>Written: Ability to prepare position papers effectively.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Diplomacy and Relationship Building: <ul> <li>Foster and maintain long-term relationships.</li> <li>Navigate complex stakeholder dynamics.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Analytical Acumen: Simplify and summarize intricate issues.</li> <li>Collaborative
