Position Summary
Editas Medicine’s Talent Acquisition team is seeking an experienced and passionate Sourcing Specialist to help shape the future of talent at the company. Reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition, this person will partner with the internal stakeholders to help build talent pools to identify and attract both passive and active talent that aligns with the Editas Talent Strategy. As the first point of contact for potential candidates, the Sourcing Specialist should embody our culture, ensuring candidates experience the essence of Editas by demonstrating a passion for our mission and values.
Key Responsibilities:
The Talent Sourcing Specialist will:
· Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand talent needs and create effective sourcing strategies.
· Utilize various sourcing channels, including LinkedIn, publications, and industry events, to identify and engage potential candidates.
· Conduct thorough market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitive talent landscapes.
· Build and maintain talent pipelines and a candidate database, ensuring a consistent pool of qualified and engaged candidates for current and future hiring needs.
· Screen and assess candidate qualifications through initial interviews, providing detailed insights to hiring teams.
· Diagnose challenges and provide strategic solutions in identifying candidates for difficult to fill roles.
· Implement and optimize sourcing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
· Partner with Talent Acquisition team members to support internal process improvement as needed.
· Have a passion for and a desire to evolve the candidate journey at Editas.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a Scientific discipline with 3-5 years of industry or agency sourcing experience.
- Knowledge of drug development and commercialization.
- Demonstrated experience in utilizing sourcing tools and professional networking platforms.
- Experience working with various Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to develop talent pools and drip marketing campaigns.
Preferred Qualifications:
· In-depth knowledge of gene editing, gene therapy, or cell therapy space
· Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship building capabilities.
