Project Manager, Personalization

As a project manager you'll help build datasets to contribute to our machine learning efforts. In this role you will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to run labeling projects from beginning to end. Specifically, we're looking for someone passionate about building data pipelines for machine learning solutions to power our Search and Recommendations systems.

You will:

• Collaborate with product, engineering and data science teams to build training and test datasets for machine-learning projects; Can take an abstract idea for a dataset and create a labeling workflow
• Responsible for writing/reviewing a set of guidelines with examples. Can identify gray areas on the dataset and provide examples on how to address them
• Assess the quality of sourced and annotated data; Implement QA process
• Review results, analyze quality, and runs audits
• Forecast timelines, track project process, communicate with partners, and delivers data along with quality report
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors and team members to ensure projects are completed accurately
• Will report to a senior manager within our Growth organization.

You Have:

• 2+ years of experience in project management or program management
• 2+ years working with data labeling for machine learning
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
• Build project roadmaps and timelines
• Have a understanding of how ground-truth data can enhance machine learning models
• Experience managing vendor relationships or contractor workforces; Has great leadership.
• Creative: You take a creative and strategic approach to solving hard problems
• Advanced Excel skills
• Bachelor's degree in technical or business discipline
• 3+ years of work experience managing projects focused on building data pipelines
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and SQL
• In-depth knowledge of gaming industry and internet trends
• Native/Fluent in Japanese, Korean, French, Portuguese, and/or Spanish (Plus)

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.  All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.Annual Salary Range$157,580—$193,040 USD
