Job Title: Operations Technical Manager - Hypergolic Testing Facility

Company Overview: Agile Space is rapidly growing its Testing and Manufacturing capabilities as we continue to support advanced space programs with creative solutions.  Our objective is to provide enhanced capacity for the industry to be able to test hypergolic engines in a modern facility consistent with Agile’s other testing facilities.  Through that expansion, we are looking for a skilled Operations Technical Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring the efficient and safe execution of testing procedures, and maintaining the facility’s infrastructure for maximum uptime. 

Position Overview: The Operations Technical Manager will be responsible for the daily operational management of the hypergolic testing facility, ensuring seamless execution of all testing activities. This role will require expertise in the technical aspects of facility operations, equipment management, and safety protocols. The manager will also be responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimizing the industrial infrastructure to maximize uptime and ensure the highest standards of safety and efficiency. This position will report to the Tulsa General Manager. 

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Daily Operations Management: 

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hypergolic testing facility, ensuring tests are executed in a safe, efficient, and timely manner. 

• Coordinate the testing schedule, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and that testing operations meet client and regulatory requirements. 

• Provide technical oversight during testing activities, ensuring that all tests adhere to established protocols and industry standards. 

1. Facility Design and Maintenance: 

• Collaborate with the General Manager and engineering teams to ensure that the design of the facility meets the necessary technical and operational requirements for hypergolic testing. 

• Lead efforts to ensure the ongoing maintenance and optimization of the facility’s infrastructure, including testing equipment, safety systems, and building systems, to minimize downtime and prevent operational disruptions. 

• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the reliability and efficiency of testing equipment and processes. 

1. Equipment Management and Calibration: 

• Oversee the management, calibration, and maintenance of all testing equipment to ensure peak performance and compliance with industry standards. 

• Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules to reduce the likelihood of equipment failure. 

• Ensure troubleshooting, repair, and calibration processes are conducted promptly to minimize downtime.
