What you’ll be doing
As a Job Placement Specialist, you will provide job placement servces to individuals with disabilities, facilitating business partnerships and project opportunities for Options For All under the Business Development Support Manager.
In this role, you will:
Develop, cultivate, and maintain business partner relationships that lead to jobs or volunteer
opportunities for OFA clients.
Provide at least one potential partnership lead to the OFA Business Development Manager per month.
Secure a minimum of four client job placements per month.
Present employment model to employers.
Negotiate new or renewal wage levels with employers.
Accompany clients as need their first day of work.
Create, complete and maintain: Job Contact Log, Development Summary Log, work inventory, assessment, master application, etc.
Complete all required documentation and reports.
Attend ISP meetings, as assigned.
Provide interview training to clients.
Provide placement updates to Business Development Manager.
Effectively relay issues and concerns to the Business Development Manager.
Identify and engage in network-building activities (e.g. community and professional organizations).
Attend at least one networking event per quarter and 2-3 marketing/vendor fairs per year.
Conduct trainings to business partners.
Support the Customized Employment (CE) process, which includes the following core stages:
Discovery, Job Search Planning, Job Development and Negotiation, Placement Support, and Post-Employment Support.
Upon hire, employees are required to complete the CE training within 6 months to ensure compliance with best practices and maintain service quality standards.
Additional duties as assigned.

High School Diploma or equivalent
Degree in Marketing, Business, Communication, or another related field (Preferred)
Experience
Experience with job development and placement strategies, including byt not limited to job analysis and job carving
Experience working with multiple local employeres in teh community
Marketing and/or sales experience (preferred)
Experience with instruction in critical life need areas, with emphasis on employment readiness job placment and employment (preferred)
Experience with small group placements (preferred)
Other Requirements
21 years of age or older
Ability to read, write, and speak professionally in English and Spanish
A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and an acceptable driving record are required for this role.
This role requires travel within the region where services are provided.
