We're hiring for an Associate Quality Engineer to join our team. In this role you will:
• Support product quality functions for Extreme Optics Products – First Article Inspections, review deviations/ECO, purges, work instructions, and management of ciritical quality issues working with a cross fucntional team• Be installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software and system management tools for Extreme HW products• Conduct inspection of defective material, Level I Failure Analysis and customer bound units as highlighted and as required by the Product Quality Engineer• Be reporting with basic statistics including tables, graphs, photos and written reports.• Maintain Quality Lab hardware and software used to provide customer support infrastructure• Assure compliance with ISO standards and complete other tasks as assigned.• Be available as a stand-by or AHE (After Hours Emergency) – Especially at Quarter End

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline (Computers/Electrical/Mechanical/IT/Industrial)
• Minimum 2 years of related experience
• Familiarity with Quality Processes – FMEA, 8D, 5 Whys, etc
• Experience with C++, C#, Java, or any other programming language.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, word) and Database tools
• Must be a methodical problem solver and pay attention to details
• Must be easy to approach and be able to communicate effectively across all levels
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast paced environment

Location: Team is based at our Salem, NH site (45 minutes north of Boston, MA) Flex - first approach to employee ability to work in office and/or remotely as the needs of the employee and team require.
