What this position entails

The Team Lead, Software Development is crucial to the continued success of our OneRecord product. In this position, you will have responsibility for supporting the ongoing development and enhancement of industry-leading EHI software and will serve as leader for their development team. The Team Lead, Software Development is expected to drive for accurate and on-time delivery of projects, with an awareness of how the work intersects with that of other development teams and IntelliScript’s business as a whole.

What you’ll be doing

• Oversee software development initiatives and team members
• Act as a player and coach on a team responsible for building scalable solutions and infrastructure
• Develop software interfaces between EHR platforms, healthcare facilities, state-run health information exchanges (HIEs), and insurance providers
• Evaluate and estimate project requests; assess business, technological, and resource needs
• Ensure development team follows our SDLC and maintains best practices to uphold quality
• Help establish project timelines and collaborate with others to ensure timelines are met
• Provide mentorship to your teams, working with individuals on their goals and career development
• Coordinate with IT managers in developing long term plans and strategies
• Help grow and develop team, positioning for long-term success
• Serve as a subject matter expert for educating internal team members and consulting with internal teams

What we need

• 10+ years of relevant experience
• In-depth EHR or healthcare-related software knowledge
• Experience with clinical data table structure, storage, relationships, maintenance, etc.
• Experience implementing HL7, IHE, or API interfaces
• Advanced proficiency with Java, Python, SOAP, REST Web Services, MySQL, and AWS
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience managing multiple direct reports
• Experience with full software development lifecycle and project management
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent collaborative skills, with strong communication and organizational skills
• Self-motivated team player who can run with a project and is willing to pitch in as needed
