Job Summary
Works closely with the Family Store Manager in the sorting, displaying, as customer service within the sorting area and sales floor of the Family Store; maintains a cash register; responds to customers questions; maintains the cleanliness and orderliness of Family Store displays; ensures the security of store items and the cash register.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of the principles and practices of retail store management.
Knowledge of the principles and practices of effective customer relations.
Ability to prepare and maintain accurate and complete bookkeeping records.
Ability to price donated merchandise reasonably and fairly.

Education and Experience
High School diploma or G.E.D.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
Ability to grasp, push, pull, and reach overhead.
Ability to operate telephone.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
Ability to understand written information.
