Job Description
As a Medical Receptionist, you’ll be the vital link between our delivery team and the patients we serve. This role offers a unique blend of healthcare administration and customer service, allowing you to make a real difference in people’s lives. You’ll manage patient information, coordinate deliveries, and provide compassionate communication to ensure smooth operations. Responsibilities
- Contact patients to confirm delivery addresses and schedule convenient times
- Manage and organize confidential patient information from digital documents
- Conduct professional follow-ups with patients who are difficult to reach
- Communicate effectively in English and Spanish with a diverse patient base
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
- Coordinate with the delivery team to optimize delivery routes and timing
- Handle sensitive situations professionally, often as the first point of contact
- Prioritize and manage a high volume of patient calls and delivery schedules
- Contribute to improving operational processes as the company grows
Requirements
- Fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal)
- Experience in medical reception or similar patient-facing roles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with computer systems and digital information management
- Ability to maintain composure in challenging situations
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- HIPAA compliance certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Comfortable working remotely with secure systems
- Adaptability to grow with a rapidly expanding company
