Staff Product Designer

** Starting Pay Range: $100,000 - $120,000/YR **

The Staff Product Designer will lead the design and evolution of apps and websites across the Turning Stone portfolio. This role involves strategizing, executing, and overseeing design projects in collaboration with product, marketing, and engineering teams. Additionally, they will direct and review work from agency partners and contractors to ensure consistency and quality. Working closely with product and engineering teams, they will translate business needs and technical constraints into seamless user experiences. This role will help prioritize and organize design initiatives to drive innovation and engagement across the company.

What you will do as a Staff Product Designer: 

• Create wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and prototypes in Figma for a variety of projects across our diverse portfolio of brands
• Work closely with Head of UX and design agency partner to build and shape enterprise design system – including components, colors, fonts, icons, and much more – across dozens of websites and mobile apps
• Oversee general product design quality, including reviewing work from agency and contract partners
• Work across product, engineering, and marketing to create cohesive experiences for both guests and team members
• Understand and leverage qualitative and quantitative research to apply to UX design decision making

 

To be successful as a Staff Product Designer, you'll need:

• 8+ years of experience in digital product design  
• Design generalist who can execute high quality UX and UI work 
• Product-oriented person who can think deeply about business outcomes and product challenges  
• Strong collaborator and relationship builder who is comfortable working with content design, research, product, and engineering 
• Comfortable designing in a component-first fashion 
•  Excellent communicator and storyteller  
• Extensive experience building designs and prototypes in Figma  
• Can oversee and provide great, clear feedback to design agency on both high-level strategy and detailed execution work   
• Can take direction with minimal oversight   
• Experience working and thriving on a small design and product team 
• Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 10 lbs
