About the Role:

 

Cyderes is looking for a Financial Analyst (FA) to join our growing Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company in a expanding Cybersecurity industry. The FA will prepare reports for partners across the organization to "explain the story behind the numbers". Reporting to the Manager FP&A, the FA will have wide exposure to multiple stages of the business and special projects across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare material, reports, and ad-hoc analysis to be presented to the highest levels.
  • Help create financial reporting in a manner clear to non-financial partners.
  • Conduct basic ad-hoc analysis to address concerns or answers queries generated by management.
  • Help prepare the annual budget and periodic forecasts.
  • Distribute standard periodic internal reporting across the organization.
  • Help accomplish special projects within Finance.
  • Help implement projects within finance to create efficiencies, improve reporting, incorporate automation/best practices.

Requirements

  • Complete assigned analyses end-to-end with weekly check-ins rather than daily direction
  • Explain financial results (variances, forecasts, margins) to sales, HR, and operations partners in plain terms
  • Reconcile data to the source and flag discrepancies before finalizing reports.
  • Experience with an ERP system (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, and Workday)
  • Build models and resolve data problems using Excel and Analytics tools.
  • Identify process gaps and propose improvements to existing reporting or workflows
  • 0–2 years of experience in finance, accounting, or analytics
  • Proficiency using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) to support analysis

Compensation: 65,000-80,000 USD
