About the role

Introduction to the job

Our Manufacturing Services (MS) –  Logistics Operations (LO) department is responsible for providing professional logistical services within the Warehouse and our Cleanroom to enable manufacturing excellence. As a Team Lead Cleanroom Logistics Administration, your mission is to enable the CRL Administration department to deliver materials complete and within agreed SLA’s to the (internal) customers.

Role and responsibilities

As Team Leader Cleanroom Logistics Administration you are hierarchically managing a team of ~18 FTE, but also closely collaborate with 3 other teams, covering the same processes (total group ~85 FTE). These 4 teams are closely integrated with each other.

You are also a main operational interface between the XT & NXT factories and the LO department. This means you are expected to keep XT & NXT factories up-to-date with regards to updates on operational issues & follow-up, so they are able to assess impact and alter plans where required. Also the other way around it is expected to share information back to the LO department.

The Cleanroom Logistics Administration department is responsible for the following activities:

  • First point of contact for logistical-related issues and ensuring follow-up.
  • Dispatching materials correct and on time for our internal customers.
  • Manage disturbance notifications of missing or rejected materials and escalate missing materials by chasing timely delivery, Interface between factory work centers & LO departments for timely follow up.
  • Manage the defect stock of the factory.
  • Manage the process to prevent disturbances in the production processes.
  • Signaling and solving bottlenecks and make improvement proposals.
  • Processes information in administrative systems .
  • Attending daily meeting with internal customers and being a pro-active natural team member for the TF work centers.
  • Joining lean improvement projects for our department and as support for internal customers projects.


Team Leader Tasks & responsibilities:

  • Quality & Safety: Safeguard and maintain tool quality and completeness process. Ensures proper execution of Safety policies and procedures.
  • People management: Manages his/her team, coaches the team members and assures required amount and proficiency of resource so that the team is at any moment capable of supporting ASML’s executing plans. Manage cooperation and harmony in the group by giving support, finding solutions and sharing information. Contributes to a productive and safe working climate and ensures the desired level of engagement and flexibility. Takes care of the day-to-day operational management. Leads by example. Ensures proper execution of HRM policies and procedures.
  • Daily Performance Management: Observes day to day execution. Responsible for solving issues and preventing reoccurrence.
  • Tactical Performance Management: Define, attune, measure and reports overall SLA / performance to internal customers and staff.
  • Improvement: Improve performance of the team and tool management processes. Initiates improvements and where required with support of the WTLO Engineers and other departments. Initiates and/or takes part in project activities related to the introduction of new processes and/or improvement initiatives.
  • Plans on priorities as defined in SLA’s. Identifies potential bottlenecks in operations. Acts and communicates on situations with appropriate urgency and in a pragmatic way.

Education and experience

  • Preferably bachelors degree HBO (logistics discipline or industrial/business engineering)
  • Minimum of 3 years leadership experience (preferred as hierarchical leader)
  • Experience with a dynamic working environment (many changes)
  • Preferably SAP specific (E) WM or general WMS knowledge

Other information

  • A certificate of conduct (‘Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag’, VOG) is required.
  • Work will mostly be done from inside cleanroom (wearing cleanroom suit).
  • You will work in a 2-shift support schedule.
