Bakery Senior Technical Service Representative

Corbion is seeking a Sr. Technical Service Representative with strong wholesale bakery manufacturing experience.  In this role, you will travel 75% of the time to Key Accounts and provide assistance to customers in solving bakery operational problems and formulations. The qualified candidate will have previous bakery operations management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide business insights
• Identify and develop new opportunities
• Execute customer account plans
• Ability to interact /collaborate with client’s management team
• Communicate effectively with Corbion’s Key Account team members
• Assist Corbion's RDA on testing and development of new technologies.
• Serve on internal customer teams to collaborate on risk and opportunities.
• Develop sales through testing and demonstrating Corbion products
• Review procedures and processes in client facilities providing technical solutions to existing problems
• Participate in plant start-ups that often require two weeks of continuous travel.     

Qualifications

• AIB Graduate or industry experience equivalent with 5+ years’ experience in baking preferred.
• Extensive large wholesale baking background with management experience in operations.
• Excellent understanding of ingredient functionality, formulation, fully automated baking processes and operation of the equipment involved.
• Must have a good understanding of formulation in how to build a formula from scratch.
• Ability to start a project from conception, product development, R&D testing in our labs, and then implementation through plant trials.
• Ability to work with multiple internal teams and customers, with projects in our labs.
• Excellent process problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Above average training skills, and have the ability to develop and deliver seminars and training programs both internally and to customers.
• Must be self-motivated, with excellent written, electronic, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel extensively, both domestically 75% and internationally occasionally.
• Must be competent in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.  This range may be modified in the future.  An employee’s title and position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, location and business or organizational needs.  The base salary range for this role is $94,000 to $130,000.
