Job Description

As a Security Professional - Manufacturing Patrol - Weekdays in Fountain Inn, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment for employees, visitors, and property. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the facility, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will also interact with individuals on site, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the values of teamwork, integrity, and reliability. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency response activities and/or drills.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
