Nursing Services is part of the professional interdisciplinary team that plans and provides patient care. The Director of Nursing Services (DNS) actively participates in directing, managing, monitoring and evaluating the delivery of 24/7 nursing services within assigned program at OSH

The Oregon State Hospital provides patient-centered, psychiatric treatment for adults from throughout the state who need hospital-level care. Our primary goal is to help people recover from their illness and return to the community. What We Are Looking For
Minimum Qualifications: These qualifications must be visible in your application for consideration.
At the time of application, possess a valid Oregon Registered Professional Nurse's license AND three years of nursing experience including some supervisory and/or teaching experience which demonstrates knowledge of:
Nursing techniques and therapeutic intervention used in care and treatment of patients with mental illness
Supervisory techniques and work management of subordinate personnel
Administrative and educational principles and practices involved in nursing administration
