Job Description

Job Title: Software Quality Specialist 

 

Location: Stevens Point, WI – Corporate Office   

 

Starting Salary: $45,045.26 - $49,549.79 (Salary commensurate with experience)

Skyward is currently seeking a Software Quality Specialist to join our Quality Assurance team to focus on migrating our Legacy system to our new platform.  

As a Software Quality Specialist, you will be responsible for testing product changes and ensuring that data is migrating correctly based on defined criteria. 

In this role, you will be collaborating with your assigned Development Team, System Manager, and Quality Assurance to research and test product changes.    

What you will do:  

  • Data development to test changes and confirm the changes meet project definition and customer needs. 

  • Define Test Cases for projects the team is working on. 

  • Learn product functionality and apply it to testing situations. 

  • Sufficient product navigation knowledge to be able to quickly test product changes. 

  • Uses Resource Management System (RMS) and Kanban Boards for tracking/updating projects, and monitoring Dashboards for projects. 

  • Document issues found in testing.

  • The ideal candidate is dependable and possesses strong organizational, reasoning, and problem-solving skills, and provides excellent follow-through.  

  • Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 

  • Thrives in a collaborative team environment. 

  • Accuracy in work habits and data entry. 

  • Strong attention to details, including following written procedures. 

  • Has a two or four-year degree or a combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered.
