About the Role

The Project Manager is a champion of the Agency, partnering closely with all departments to help ensure holistic project health success. The PM is responsible for helping to craft the project plan, and manage the day-to-day execution of the plan. This work begins at the set up and onboarding phase of a project through retrospective, making sure the projects are delivered on time, within budget, and on brief. The PM works in lockstep with the Brand, Creative, Strategy, Creative Analytics, Production and Media counterparts to establish and communicate project milestones, proactively identify roadblocks and solve for ongoing needs. They will confidently navigate and prioritize proper resourcing, schedules, and financials to successfully deliver excellent work that satisfies both client AND Agency goals. The PM is someone who respects and implements the process but also knows how and when it is appropriate to be flexible.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain project timelines and concurrent workstreams; work with teams to stay on schedule to hit internal and external milestones
  • Partner with project leads to critically assess client feedback ensuring it’s executable within scope
  • Manage schedules and timelines, clearly communicating expectations, objectives and next steps
  • Circulate hot sheets / lead status team meetings to provide clarity of tasks and responsibilities, while also ensuring everyone has what they need to succeed
  • Ongoing collaboration with Creative leads and Resource Managers on creative casting and resource allocations, making sure scoped staff to resources are appropriate 
  • Identify and flag any staffing needs/conflicts/changes as they arise
  • On integrated accounts, partner with Media counterparts to assess campaign needs at project onset, and continue collaboration through testing, reporting and optimizations
  • Work with the Project Management Director to pull and analyze monthly burn reports, identifying areas for improvements and efficiencies, flagging justifications and concerns
  • Work closely with department leads to implement processes and operational efficiencies

About You

The essentials:

  •   4-8+ years of agency or similar project management experience
  •   Strong interpersonal skills to bring people together, strengthen team relationships while motivating, directing, and challenging teams to produce great work 
  •   Experience managing complex projects, on fast timelines with stellar attention to detail
  •   Superior organization and communication skills
  •   Must be a thoughtful, critical thinker, able to understand micro and macro project organization
  •   Ability to juggle multiple assignments and workstreams in a fast-paced environment
  •   Comfortable working in both collaborative and independent environments  
  •   Familiar with lower, mid and upper funnel creative process and deliverables including social, digital, video (with added bonus for OOH, radio, print, web dev, HTML banners)
  •   Experience managing social and digital video campaigns partnering with a range of creative types including but not limited to copywriters, art directors, designers, motion graphics artists, and editors
