Your new role

Our engineering department is divided into cross-functional, verticalized development teams, who are focused on delivering continuous improvements, features and developing new products. To support the delivery process and stability of our products, we can also count on our Product Support team, QA team, and SRE team who, alongside our Product and People team, Director/Architect and VP Engineering, are constantly looking to overcome new challenges, to innovate, and to guarantee the success of our products and general satisfaction of our customers.

Your challenge:

• Managing, mentoring, training, and coaching engineers
• Provide resources to optimize the engineers’ skills
• Goal setting (MBO, bonuses) & quarterly assessment
• Train the engineering teams the best practices to ensure a high-quality product
• Work to remove obstacles blocking the engineers from achieving their objectives
• Setting up organization structures for fast flow and scalability
• Facilitating the communication in engineering disciplines
• Initiates and drives initiatives in cooperation with Product Owner and Tech Lead to move teams forward
• HR related tasks, such as recruitment, remuneration, career planning, long-term vacation planning
  

Requirements

About you

• Previous experience as a lead or manager of an engineering team
• Clear communication and conflict resolution skills
• People and results oriented
• Being able to communicate technical and non-technical directions
• Knowing how to build psychological safety and trust on both sides of the relationship through conversation and open feedback
