Security Dispatcher

Weekly Earned Wage Access is an option for this position. 

Job Purpose or Objective(s): Responsible for dispatching emergency and non-emergency calls for Tribal Security and Tribal EMS. You will report to the Dispatch Supervisor.

Primary Tasks:

1.      You will use a computer aided dispatch system, receives and log calls for service, determine priorities, and  dispatches necessary Security or on-site EMS units                 following established procedures.

2.      Maintain contact with all units on duty; maintain status and location of Security and EMS Units.

3.      Assist the Supervisor in training, direction, and evaluation of the activities of trainees.

4.      Answer non-emergency calls for assistance.

5.      Perform other tasks as may be assigned.

Requirements:

·        High school diploma or GED required.

·        Have or can maintain certification

·        Must be at least 18 years of age.

·        Exhibits strong interpersonal skills and time management skills.

·        Communicate with groups and individuals both orally and in writing.

·        Must have knowledge of and ability to work with appropriate hardware and software.

·        Previous dispatch experience preferred but not required
