As a National Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for joint business planning with customers to drive volume, profit, and share growth within the pet care category. Come prepared to proactively manage, monitor, and evaluate the overall business plan to meet all sales objectives. Additionally, you’ll implement brand strategies and tactics with customers by working closely with key decision-makers and utilizing category management initiatives, as well as implementing Distribution, Programing, Key Performance Indicators, and Pricing objectives.

 

  • Identify and sell-in Pro Plan Veterinary Diets (PPVD) to clinic outlets and Veterinary Corporate Group HQ Personnel
  • Lead the joint business planning process with the customer at all assigned accounts
  • Proactively monitor and update the customer's overall business plan, including managing trade budgets, spending and volume, to achieve all sales objectives versus plan
  • Conduct ROS/ROI trade spend analysis
  • Perform ad hoc business analytics to drive improved ROI on activations and events
  • Identify new and emerging customer whitespace opportunities
  • Act as coordinator amongst account managers to provide information to the field teams in a concise, regular delivery
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Vet Channel and marketplace dynamics

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, account management, business development or category development activity with a manufacturer, distributor, or retail operations

  • Travel of Up to 30%

 

Theapproximate payrange for this position is $95,000 to $162,000.Please note that thepay rangeprovided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
