Clamp Forklift Operator

Description

 FW Logistics is an experienced logistic service provider big enough to handle supply chain logistics needs while still being small enough to give specialized service. We seek a dynamic individual to join our team as a Clamp Forklift Operator.

As a Clamp Forklift Operator, You will be responsible for loading/unloading trailers, moving freight around the facility and operating a heat shrink packaging machine. Your ability to perform your duties to ensure that customer needs are met, and day-to-day Warehouse activities are executed safely and efficiently is critical to the success of FW Logistics. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Represent FW Logistics courteously and professionally at all times.
• Load, unload, move, locate, relocate, and/or stack merchandise in a safe; accurate, and orderly manner using an industrial forklift
• Assist in physical inventories as required by the supervisor
• Ensure racks are efficiently used by moving products as necessary to free up space and ensure the product is free from damage
• Ensure all paperwork is completed correctly and turned in at the end of the shift
• Safely operate forklift obeying all forklift safety rules
• Operating a heat shrink tunnel
• Exceptional attendance
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

 EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have high school diploma or GED
• 1 year of warehouse experience
• 1 year of industrial forklift experience
• Ability to work independently and as an effective team member
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
• Able to bend, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach at or above shoulder level
• Able to work in a warehouse environment where temperatures fluctuate based on external and internal weather conditions.
