Senior IT Engineer

Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Senior IT Engineer to help architect and maintain our development infrastructure. Our organization develops TT&C and Satellite Mission Management and Scheduling software in support of our mission critical customers and the OS/COMET COTS software product.

 

Responsibilities

Research and design of development environments to support multi-platform solutions. The primary responsibilities include installation, maintenance, and resolution of complex system issues.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to obtain a Security Clearance – Must be a U.S. citizen
• BS/BA with minimum of 8 years of experience;  MS/MA with 6 years of experience; 3 years with PhD. 4 years of additional experience may be substituted for a BA degree.
• Experience with:
• CyberSecurity
• DFARS
• RedHat Linux – physical and cloud environments
• AWS

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

 

• Familiarity with Oracle Solaris and IBM AIX
• Experience with the Amazon Web Services cloud architecture and tools associated with cloud development and security
• Experience with Ansible or AWS CloudFormation or similar template language
• Experience with container tools such as Docker/Podman, EC2 Image Builder

Target Salary Range

$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
