CompleteRx has an opportunity for a Pharmacist (PRN) to help provide exceptional patient care at CHRISTUS Southern New Mexico located in Alamogordo, NM. Our outpatient pharmacy aspires to be the pharmacy of choice for patients and a leader in affordable healthcare.

Gerald Champion Regional Medical Center is proud to join the CHRISTUS Health family. The hospital is an acute care medical center with additional licenses for 12 inpatient rehab beds and 38 psychiatric beds.

Pharmacy Operating Hours:

  • Monday - Friday, 8am - 6pm
  • Saturday and Sunday, 10am - 4pm
  • This position will provide coverage as needed for call-outs, vacations, and holidays.

What You Will Do

  • Ensure safe, appropriate, cost-effective drug therapies for patients according to established policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Interpret drug orders (verbal and written) and transcribe to computerized patient medication profiles accurately.
  • Assist with pharmacokinetics consult service and drug dosing per hospital protocol.
  • Maintain accurate, complete pharmacy patient medication profiles.
  • Complete all assigned medication storage area inspections in a timely manner.
  • Supervise and direct pharmacy support personnel as assigned by the Director of Pharmacy.
  • Build and nurture relationships with physicians and nurses.

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor of Science or PharmD degree required.
  • Current license, in good standing, to practice pharmacy in the State of New Mexico.
  • Two plus years of experience is preferred but not required.
  • Courteous, professional service to patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
