JOB SUMMARY: The Restaurant Supervisor at Nobu Restaurant will support the leadership team with managing and training team members to elegantly describe food offerings, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as knowledge of wine and spirits to deliver the ultimate luxury dining experience in a sophisticate environment. This role will ensure that all aspects of the front of the house operations contribute to 100% guest satisfaction. 

  • Responsible for maintaining and maximizing the reservations of the restaurant.
  • Manage large party reservations from start to completion of contract. Ensuring all details of menu, payment and special requirements of large party reservations.
  • Responsible for the service operations of the Restaurant
  • Able to build a team that creates a memorable fine dining experience for each guest every time
  • Ensuring consistent, high quality service standards are maintained in areas of responsibility. Particularly the Host team. Ensuring the Host team are properly trained in, properly booking reservations, properly answering phones, properly greeting the guests and recognizing the regular and VIP guests. 
  • Implementing training programs that ensure high quality service
  • Providing adequate training and tools for employees
  • Ensuring all areas are kept clean and in proper condition
  • Scheduling of employees to ensure the highest possible level of service
  • Supervising the front of the house employees in respective food outlets
  • Maintaining proper employee/employer relations
  • Reports department activity regularly. Acts as a role model to other employees and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars and encourages others to do the same. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED required. 
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions when required
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • 1 - 2 years food and beverage supervisory experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, leadership, communication, team building and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability in maintaining consistent, high quality guest service skills.
  • Good understanding of how his/her job responsibilities relate to other areas of operation.
  • Willingness to work any shift, any day, when necessary.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND EVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

  • Physical mobile with reasonable accommodations.
  • Lift and carry upwards of 50 lbs
  • Bend, jump, twist, crouch, grip and carry heavy loads
  • Run on level surfaces, as well as up and down stairs
  • Respond to visual and aural cues
  • Operate in mentally and physically stressful situations.
