The Senior Quality Engineer will be an experienced and detailed oriented individual. They will have a strong background in quality assurance and quality control with a proven track record of leading quality improvement projects and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Lead and manage quality assurance activities to ensure product quality and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address quality issues.
• Develop and maintain quality control systems, including inspection and testing procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality-related issues.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to lower level quality engineers.
• Prepare and present quality reports and metrics to senior management.
• Participate in internal and external audits and ensure compliance with ISO and other relevant standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field. Advanced degrees can supplement experience.
Experience: Minimum of [5 years] of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
Certifications: Relevant quality certifications (e.g., CQE, CQA, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt) are highly desirable.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of quality management systems and methodologies.
Proficient in statistical analysis and quality improvement tools.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Proficient in using quality management software and tools.
