Academic Physician - Interventional Cardiology #MED357

Description

The University of Chicago's Department of Medicine, Section of Cardiology, is searching for a full-time Assistant Professor who specializes in Interventional Cardiology. The appointee will have clinical responsibilities including outpatient clinic, reading EKGs, inpatient ward and consultative cardiology at our main campus and, if needed, at affiliated sites. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. Academic rank and compensation are dependent upon qualifications. Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois and 3) be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology. We especially welcome applicants with an additional interest in General Cardiology.
