Our Government Health and Human Services (HHS) team collaborates with state agencies across the country, helping them manage human services, Medicaid, public health, behavioral health and other essential services to achieve agency outcomes. Your key responsibilities
Your key responsibilities as a Senior Manager on the Human Services (HHS) team include serving as a key resource in managing the day-to-day activities in support of building relationships throughout the Human Services agencies and departments while driving growth and delivery activities. We anticipate up to 60% of your time involving new business development, origination activities and capture efforts, while 40% of your time will be focused on delivering on new business sold to your client. You will contribute to project delivery by overseeing, participating in and reviewing the parameters of the consulting work under contract; participating in resource planning and development; and managing both contract and client expectations.
Key capabilities that you should be prepared to bring to client-facing and internal teams include:
- Experience working in and/or with various state Human Services organizations to include policy, process and platforms as a state employee, outside vendor, or both
- Knowledge and expertise of Human Services programs within state agencies, including behavioral health, child warfare services, childcare and child support, and eligibility system strategy, integration, or support
- Demonstrated working knowledge and aptitude in some of our key capabilities (e.g., Program Management Office functions, project oversight and management, applicable industry platforms and technologies)
- Encouragement and facilitation of collaboration among team members and promoting an inclusive environment
- Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to multitask and adhere to project deadlines
- Ability to lead certain engagement activities from planning through to execution
- Contributions to business development and client pursuit activities by preparing proposals, marketing presentations for potential clients and thought leadership brochures
