Summer 2025 Internship Opportunity. Now Hiring for a Communications Intern. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support a variety of administrative functions within a healthcare setting. This non-clinical internship offers exposure to the operational side of healthcare and is ideal for individuals interested in learning how healthcare organizations function behind the scenes.
Interns will assist with administrative tasks, contribute to projects, and gain insight into the day-to-day support work that helps keep a healthcare organization running smoothly. You will have the chance to collaborate with professionals across the organization and contribute to meaningful work that supports the overall delivery of patient care.
Schedule:
- Part-time 40 hours every 2 weeks
- Mon-Thurs – Flexible day shift hours
- June 2025-August 2025
- Majority remote work
Pay & Benefits:
- The rate of pay for this internship is: $18.50 per hour

Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program (e.g., Business, Marketing, or Communications)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and work both independently and collaboratively
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges

Core Functions:
- Develop and create compelling content for internal communications, including emails, newsletters, and intranet articles that resonate with employees.
- Craft and share engaging stories that highlight company initiatives, employee achievements, and organizational milestones to strengthen internal culture and morale.
- Collaborate with leadership and departments to gather insights and translate them into clear, concise, and effective communication materials.
- Support the planning and execution of internal communication strategies aligned with corporate objectives, ensuring messages are consistent and impactful.
- Assist in creating content for presentations, town halls, and other employee-facing communications to promote engagement and understanding.
- Gather and analyze internal feedback to help refine communication strategies and ensure alignment with employee needs.
- Provide content support for internal programs and initiatives, ensuring messaging reflects organizational values and goals.
- Contribute to internal campaigns and initiatives designed to enhance employee experience and foster a positive work environment.
- Attend team meetings, offering insights on communication strategies and providing input on content development.
- Perform other duties as assigned that contribute to enhancing the effectiveness and reach of internal communications.
