About the role

Join Malvern Panalytical as an SAP Platform Developer and play a key role in shaping our SAP landscape. You'll support and develop solutions across SAP S/4HANA and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), enabling strategic projects and driving continuous improvement.

Working in an Agile environment, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn user stories into impactful business solutions.

What you will bring to the role:

• Design, develop, and implement SAP solutions following clean core methodology to meet business requirements.

• Collaborate with business analysts, functional consultants, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications.

• Perform system development, functional testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality, optimal performance.

• Develop custom reports, interfaces, and enhancements using ABAP programming to support business processes.

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP applications, resolving issues promptly to maintain system stability.

• Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and integration projects, ensuring seamless transitions and system enhancements.

About you:

• Strong SAP ABAP Development experience within an S/4 HANA system including CDS, OData, BRF+ along with classical ABAP development experience

• A Clean Core mindset and ability to utilise the latest SAP technology to provide sustainable development

• Excellent Problem Solving/Troubleshooting skills across different solution areas and technologies

• An ability to identify the root cause and enable appropriate action to be taken to resolve

• Development knowledge & experience relevant to a manufacturing company

• Work with functional consultants to deliver functional and technical specifications to meet requirements

• Ability to support junior & offshore resources

• Excellent Communication Skills
