Role Description: we are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Windows Application Developer to enhance and expand a critical software system that facilitates firearm crime data management for state agencies and allied partners. You will work with an established team, developing and maintaining applications using C#, VB.net, Windows Forms, and WCF web services, while leveraging Oracle and SQL databases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate in Scrum ceremonies and participate in 2-week sprints to develop modules for the Delta+ application suite.
- Translate user stories into actionable tasks for Product Backlog Items (PBIs).
- Develop and enhance Windows Forms using C#, VB.net, and DevExpress controls.
- Conduct testing and code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Upgrade existing systems and implement enhancements while maintaining security and technology standards.
- Design and maintain WCF web services with the latest security protocols.
- Provide documentation for system designs and updates to user documentation.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 7+ years in software development for mission-critical tools.
- 5+ years developing Windows Applications using C#, VB.net, and Windows Forms.
- 5+ years designing and implementing systems with WCF web services.
- 3+ years working in mid-to-large organizations within the last 5 years.
- Experience with Team Foundation Server (Azure DevOps).
- Familiarity with DevExpress controls and SQL-based systems.
- Knowledge of the MVVM (Model-View-ViewModel) design pattern.

- Bachelor's Degree in related field is required.
