As a Technical Trainer II, in coordination with others, you will be responsible for delivering, developing, creating, tracking completions and implementing technical content and training materials for internal stakeholders at SNC. You will deliver on-site/remote learning content, by providing an expert training program and advising on technical training materials. You will collaborate and work as a partner alongside operations production management, quality, safety, inspectors, technicians and mechanics, engineers and other technical trainers and Learning Management Systems administrators to assure qualification and compliance. You will also be expected to provide feedback to students, peers, and leadership at all levels within the organization on the effectiveness of technical training programs.Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in related technical field (Aviation Maintenance, Aviation Operations) and 2+ years of work experience
- Relevant experience beyond 3+ years may be considered in lieu of required education
- Experience with supporting / addressing customer training objectives
- Experience working around aircraft during heavy maintenance or modification
- Must possess strong verbal and technical written communication skills
- Must be able to coordinate collaboratively across traditional aviation maintenance related disciplines
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, Teams etc
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Background in technical training, programs, communications, or other similar function
- Certification such as CTT+ (Certified Technical Trainer) is preferred or previous instructional experience
- FAA Maintenance Certification (A&P Certificate, Repairman Certificate, Inspector Authorization)
