People Manager, Germany

Mission

We have a fantastic opportunity in our People Team based in Germany.  This is a challenging role in which you will act as the People Manager for Germany across various locations/sites.

Responsibilities

• Plan sourcing methods, warrant effective selection and onboarding process
• Lead initiatives to attract the best talent according to the Company's needs
• Oversee the accurate payroll run in Germany                                      
• Manage the annual salary review process at local level
• Analysis of HR data for reporting purposes.
• Leverage the human resource information system to effectively and efficiently manage HR processes
• Ensure compliance of the site practices with applicable labour legislation and actively manages collective labour relations, incl. Works Councils
• Identify business needs and propose actions regarding the organisation of work, HR policies, so as to increase the organisation’s effectiveness
• Provide expert advice and coaching to line management in resolving any human related issues i.e. legal obligations, conflicts, performance issues etc.
• Manage, motivate and assess performance of his/her team
• Participate in ad hoc HR projects and initiatives
   

Requirements

• University degree of Business Administration, Law or similar
• Senior level experience in similar role
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Solid knowledge of German Labour law and able to establish a good relationship with the Works Council
• Very good German and English lan­guage skills
• Proven track record of in project management/several projects in parallel
• Ability to communicate in an diverse environment and to facilitate alignment
