People Manager, Germany

Mission
We have a fantastic opportunity in our People Team based in Germany. This is a challenging role in which you will act as the People Manager for Germany across various locations/sites.
Responsibilities
- Plan sourcing methods, warrant effective selection and onboarding process
- Lead initiatives to attract the best talent according to the Company's needs
- Oversee the accurate payroll run in Germany
- Manage the annual salary review process at local level
- Analysis of HR data for reporting purposes.
- Leverage the human resource information system to effectively and efficiently manage HR processes
- Ensure compliance of the site practices with applicable labour legislation and actively manages collective labour relations, incl. Works Councils
- Identify business needs and propose actions regarding the organisation of work, HR policies, so as to increase the organisation’s effectiveness
- Provide expert advice and coaching to line management in resolving any human related issues i.e. legal obligations, conflicts, performance issues etc.
- Manage, motivate and assess performance of his/her team
- Participate in ad hoc HR projects and initiatives
Requirements
- University degree of Business Administration, Law or similar
- Senior level experience in similar role
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Solid knowledge of German Labour law and able to establish a good relationship with the Works Council
- Very good German and English language skills
- Proven track record of in project management/several projects in parallel
- Ability to communicate in an diverse environment and to facilitate alignment
